A rebrand is much more than just a new logo, our brand is the sum of expectations and perceptions the public has about us. Our reputation, services, experiences, marketing, and communications all play a role in actively shaping it. Goodhue County always has and always will strive to meet our mission statement: “To effectively promote the safety, health, and well-being of our residents.
Naturally Inspiring, Good to Grow, and For the Public Good all support our tagline of Find your Good Here and a more consulted and authentic brand.
The project underwent three main phases with four different consultative bodies: the public, partner agencies, the communications committee, and the project team.
From thorough consultation, the Communications Committee recommended the following to the Board of Commissioners. On November 7th, 2023 the Board formally approved this branding as the official branding for the County.
A rebrand is not only about the redesign itself but also the implementation of it. To maximize this new brand, the County will provide tools for success and establish both an internal and external presence. This spring of 2024, new ADA compliance internal building signage will be rolled out. Additionally, the logo will be fitted on all County vehicles. Lastly, in the summer of 2024, the website will be redesigned for a new look and feel alongside the new branding.
