Conflict / Disclosure of Interest
INTERIM ORDINANCE—MORATORIUM TO TEMPORARILY RESTRICT CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BUILDINGS OR EXPANSION OF EXISTING BUILDINGS IN THE STUDY AREA FOR THE PROPOSED HWY 52/COUNTY ROAD 24 INTERCHANGE (CANNON FALLS TOWNSHIP)— The Goodhue County Board desires to protect its citizen’s health, safety, and welfare by producing an Official Map for an interchange system and future connections between Highway 52 and County Road 24. The Goodhue County Board of Commissioners will consider whether it is necessary to adopt an Interim Ordinance for a period of one year from the date it becomes effective to allow for such a zoning ordinance update and adoption of zoning regulations. The proposed Interim Ordinance would prohibit the erection of any new buildings or expansion of any existing buildings in the following areas: Section 19, T112N, R17W, west of Highway No. 52; and Government Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8, Section 30, T112N, R17W, Cannon Falls Township.

CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT—BRAD AND AUDREY BANITT—Pt of the SW ¼, Section 2, T112N, R14W, Hay Creek Township. Brad and Audrey Banitt are requesting a conditional use permit to operate a commercial kennel in an A-2, Agriculture District.
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT—MIDWEST REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES, LLC/LAVERNE AND MARGARET DANKERS—W ½ of the NE ¼, Section 21, T111N, R15W, Goodhue Township. Midwest Real Estate Properties, LLC is requesting a conditional use permit to construct a wireless communications facility in an A-3, Urban Fringe District.
