Goodhue County Board of Commissioners
The Goodhue County Board of Commissioners is the body charged by law with the management of the affairs of Goodhue County. The County Board operates as a deliberative and legislative assembly, meeting to discuss and determine the direction and policies of the County within the confines of state and federal law. The County Board functions within the statutory framework of Minnesota law. General duties, powers and responsibilities are found in Minnesota Statutes, especially but not exclusively Chapters 370, 373, 375 and 383D.
County Board Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 5:00 p.m. and the third Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the County Board Room, 3rd floor Government Center, Red Wing, MN, except for July, August and December. The Goodhue County Board conducts their meetings at the Cannon Valley Fairgrounds in July and the Goodhue County Fairgrounds in August. See the County Calendar for date and time information.
