- Aluminum & tin cans
- Food & beverage cans
- Aluminum plates/pie tins/foil
- Clean and rinse
GLASS BOTTLES & JARS
- Clear/Green/Brown/Blue bottles & jars only
- Labels & rings acceptable
- Food & beverage containers only
- Remove lids and clean
- Sort by color
- NO light bulbs, window glass, ceramics, aquariums, vases, drinking glasses, stemware, glass tabletops or cookware (Pyrex) please
PLASTIC BOTTLES
- #1 & #2 containers only
- Rinse and remove lids
- No plastic bags, 6-pak rings, toys, siding, or Styrofoam
CARDBOARD
- Look for wavy layers
- No waxed or oily cardboard
- Please flatten
MAGAZINES
- Glossy materials only
- No paperback or hardcover books
NEWSPAPER
- Newspaper clean & dry
- Glossy ads ok
- Magazines / Catalogs
- Newspaper ads can be recycled with the newspaper
OFFICE PAPER
- White & pastel papers
- Copy paper & letterhead
- Envelopes with/without windows
TELEPHONE BOOKS
- Recycle with newspaper
- Tear large telephone books into sections
BATTERIES
- Button
- Ni-cad (rechargeable)
- Lithium, lead, and other specialty batteries.
- Alkaline and zinc carbon (heavy-duty) batteries are not hazardous and can be thrown in the trash.
