Throughout the month of October, Goodhue County Health and Human Services (GCHHS) will be completing the Goodhue County’s MFIP Biennial Services Agreement Plan and is interested in receiving public input on this plan.
The Minnesota Department of
Human Services (DHS) requires counties to have an approved MFIP Biennial Services Agreement to receive consolidated funds. The
primary purpose of the agreement is to provide DHS with information about
services and strategies to meet state established outcomes with the goal of
increasing the economic stability of low income families served with
consolidated funds. The plan provides an assessment of
ongoing needs within program areas, resources available to address these
needs, and budgeting of allocated resources.
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has provided guidelines for completing the plan, which Goodhue County will be utilizing as the plan is prepared.
